Michigan is now the 38th state to adopt a smoking ban.  One interesting aspect of this bill is the fine: the establishment does not get fined, the individual does.  This pretty much means that the establishment does not have to enforce the smoking ban, because they have
nothing at stake.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

So... how is this smoking ban affecting you?  Do you think that the smoking ban is keeping smokers at home instead of going out and about?yes"">

Have you used your Victory in public places yet?  Have you experienced any “public outcry” from any overzealous anti-smokers, or has it been a pretty smooth experience
for you?

I live in Michigan and the establishment gets fined as well. I have used my Victory out and it is getting mixed reviews from anti-smokers. Some still won't believe it is harmless to them and others think it is a great thing.
I use mine in public places too, and nobody has given me a hard time about it yet (once they figure out that it is not burning and throwing off any second hand smoke).

As the law reads, both the restaurant and the smoker will face fines of up to $100 for their first offense and $500 for subsequent violations. Furthermore smoking is not permitted on decks or patios where food and drinks are served or eaten, or while dining in a restaurant’s sidewalk seating area. There has been no specific distance placed into state law whereby the smoker must stand away from the non-smoking area.

The VictoryTek electronic cigarette gives me a chance to avoid the fines and to still hang out and enjoy a cocktail, and to coexist with the non smoking community. I think that once people get used to this technology things will smooth-out for most of us "digital smokers." ;-)
I have this product and it made me quit smoking.... Thank god.... I also work in a resturant as a waitress/bartender and business has sored not went down and i dont have to breath that all night now that I have quit Im so thankful...
